He is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to children, teenagers, and adults. His experience includes working in the following settings: private school, church, residential treatment, community mental health, and private practice.

Jackson utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to explore thoughts and feelings as these influence behaviors and identify more helpful thoughts/behavior. He also uses Solution-focused Therapy to identify strengths of the individual and potential problem-solving skills that may be utilized in order to improve coping with current life stressors. Jackson also has the skill to integrate modern psychology with deep biblical and theological training enabling him to engage in effective counseling to address spiritual concerns from a therapeutic standpoint.

Each client is the expert of their life but may feel as if things have gotten out of control. After learning of what factors may play a role in the reason for seeking out therapy, we will develop goals to improve not only how you feel but how you think and act. Through the process we will seek to build your own skills to increase your expertise in problem solving and overcome potential problems you may face in the future.

Outside of the office, Jackson enjoys spending time with his family in various activities and volunteering at ministry related events. He enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, as well as the opportunity to teach and learn.
